Rita Sah is a writer and women activist. She has conducted over half a dozen researches regarding the Madhesh movement, Dowry system, Reservations in the Public Service Commission and other Madhesh and Women-related issues for various organisations like DFID, Governance Facility Nepal, WOREC, NEMAF, etc. She has also contributed articles regarding the aforementioned issues for various journals and boooks in Nepali language. She has also been writing op-ed articles on women rights, feminism, citizenship issues, social inclusion, etc for some of Nepal’s leading vernacular newspapers for over a decade. She is also a leader in the current Civil Society movement. She is an executive member of Beyond Beijing Committee (BBC) and Worec. She is also a member of the Inter-Generational Feminist Forum (IGFF).
